Our September Board of Education meeting gave us another opportunity to celebrate some of the great things happening across School of the Osage!
Parrie Bayles was recognized for the hands-on learning opportunities she creates for students in culinary arts and hospitality. Mrs. Bayles was recently named the 2026 Missouri ProStart Educator of Excellence.
Jacob Blank was recognized for the impact he is making through Career and Technical Education. Mr. Blank was named the 2026 Missouri ACTE New CTE Teacher of the Year, recognizing his achievement, innovation, and leadership early in his CTE career.
The Board also celebrated our Early Childhood Education program, which has been selected as the overall Medium-Size District Winner of the 2026 FutureBuilders' ECE Program of the Year Award. Our ECC team will be formally recognized at the Missouri School Boards' Association Annual Conference in October.
These awards are exciting, but even more exciting is the work behind them - the possibilities being created, the relationships being built, and the difference being made for Osage students every day.
Congratulations to Mrs. Bayles, Mr. Blank, and our Early Childhood Education team!
