Our Heritage Extended Learning students got hands-on with a zucchini cake project this week, thanks to a collaboration with
School of the Osage Middle School Osage Grown. Working together from start to finish, they experienced every step—shredding fresh zucchini, carefully adding ingredients, mixing, and, of course, enjoying the final product!
The best part? Many students were initially unsure about the taste, but after a single bite, they couldn’t get enough! This project brought together learning, teamwork, and a fresh, local flavor that truly shows how rewarding collaboration can be.
